First visit - CONSULTATION
During your first visit, we will discuss your personal style preferences and requirements for your suit.
We will then guide you through our extensive range of the finest English and Italian cloth and trimmings, as well as styles and cuts.
Detailed measurements are also taken to ensure your suit’s perfect fit.
Second visit - FIRST FITTING
At this stage your suit will be basted together ready for your first fitting.
Here we will make adjustments according to your physique such as your posture, shoulder drop and other traits.
After this first fitting your paper pattern will be revised with these adjustments; your suit taken apart, re-cut and re-sewn in preparation for the second fitting.
Third visit - SECOND FITTING
Your bespoke suit is near completion. This is your opportunity to make any final adjustments.
We will be further refining the cut and details of your suit to ensure its final fit. Your pattern will be updated accordingly should there be any changes.
Once again your suit is taken apart in order to make the final alterations, following which, it is hand assembled and finished by our team of master tailors.
Fourth visit - COLLECTION
Your bespoke suit is now completed and ready for you to enjoy for years to come.
All INVENTORY suits are cut with inlays to allow for any adjustments you may require in the future, should your body shape change.
Your master pattern is also archived for future commissions.
Number of visits
For first time customers the bespoke process requires a minimum of 4 visits with two fittings between.
Regular customers make at least 3 visits with just one fitting.
FAQ
What's the difference between bespoke and made to measure suits?
Traditionally bespoke suits are cut and made entirely by hand, and made to measure suits largely by machine.
At INVENTORY we honour the traditions and craftsmanship of bespoke suit making, as such we do not offer made to measure services for suits.
Our made to measure services however, extend to shirts, denim jeans and jackets, bomber jackets, chore jackets, biker jackets, gurkha trousers, chinos and shorts.
How many visits and fittings are there for bespoke and made to measure?
For bespoke there are usually four visits: consultation, first fitting, second fitting and collection.
For made to measure there are usually three visits: consultation, fitting and collection.
How long does each process take?
