KNUCKLES & NOTCH

INVENTORY SHIRT PROJECT — COLLAB N°7

INVENTORY presents the Bespoke Shirt Project: an ongoing initiative where a handful of creatives from different disciplines are invited to reinterpret the classic shirt, and create a bespoke piece that meets their everyday needs. In May, we welcome Marilyn Goh & Djohan Hanapi of Knuckles & Notch, a risograph print & publishing studio.

ABOUT THE ‘DJO’

Inspired by the style and functions of vintage railroad and military jackets, Djohan, Creative Director of Knuckles & Notch, wants to create a tough but light utilitarian shirt with plenty of big pockets to store necessities as a replacement to wearing an apron. The long sleeve shirt features a hidden button-down collar, button closure at front, inverted-pleat flap pockets and welt pockets with rivets at edges, with silver hardware throughout.

An exclusive preview of the ‘Djo’ shirt will be held at Gallery & Co. on 20 April 2017, for 2 weeks. Limited to 10 pieces, the ‘Djo’ will be available from 9 May 2017 onwards, on a made-to-measure basis, where all pieces will be customized to the customer’s measurements.

Limited to 10 pieces. While making an appointment, click on 'The Djo' to secure your piece.
